1. Coating hardness
  The coating of Real mineral varnish is solid, and can not be pulled by the nails after dry in constuction.Coating still can be pulled by the nail after three days, if general real mineral varnish constructe in good weather conditions. The reason should be seen as that coating is too soft, and mianly due to the choosen emulsion is not appropriate.　　

Them in the preparation of Real mineral varnish, adopt the emulsion which is the same as preparation paint, which led to that the content of emulsion is low in the formulation of Real mineral varnish, the coating is not tight enough due to the presence of a large number of gravel when filming. The study by  coatings researchers found: the preparation emulsion's bond strength use for Real mineral varnish should not be less than the  3MPa, the minimum film forming temperature should not lower than 15 ℃. Higher minimum film forming temperature may cause  not easily film's shortcomings in low temperatures, we can solve it through add appropriate film-forming agent.Film additives can completely volatile after the coating drying, generally does not affect the performance of the coating. Real mineral varnish chose emulsion, which has the higher bond strength and the higher minimum film forming temperature, which has fundamentally solved the problem that coating is too soft.　　

2.Coating has good water resistance, stable color, no white, no color

　Some Real mineral varnish coating are white and coating became loose after each rain, but after the rain stopped, through the sun drying, coating will restore the original color.In fact, this is due to poor water resistance of the coating, absorption of moisture, the formula acrylic emulsion need to be added surfactant in the synthesis. the coating remain in the coating after the film, and greatly reduce the water resistance of the coating. Experiment shows that the acrylic emulsion mixed with quartz sand, without any additives, form spray coating, its water absorption is 0.42%, and on the basis of the above coating add 0.4% hydroxyethyl cellulose, water absorption increased to 4.3%. Because Real mineral varnish coating is thick , once absorbed water,which is not easy released in a short time, then the result is that appearance shows white and inside coating is loose.
